Lilla can’t decide which toy is better.
Lilla’s new tricks.
A lot has happened over the past month and a half since I last posted. Lilla is eating just about everything you put in front of her. Everything except quinoa and avocado. Not the biggest fan of those two. She loves watermelon, pears, mangoes, sweet potatoes, and of course, puffs. She’s baby talking up a storm and is so close to saying mama and dada. Any day now. 🙂
She waves, claps, does “so big” and is big into pointing right now. She also says “hi” and “ouch”. Every time she pulls my hair, I say “ouch”. So she pulls her own hair and says “ouch” now too. It’s absolutely the cutest thing ever.
I can’t believe she’s 10 and a half months. Where did the time go?
We have a first word. Drumroll please…
No, it’s not “dada” or “mama” or even “Penny.” Instead, it’s “puffs” as in Lilla’s new favorite snack. She LOVES the little flower-shaped air pockets of goodness. And it’s beyond adorable to hear her say the word. One of these days we’ll capture it on video and as soon as we do, I will definitely post it. But cannot believe my sweet baby girl has started talking at 9.5 months. Love her so so much!
Standing…check. Waving…check. Chatting up a storm…check check.
This video says it all. We have one cute and may I say smart little girl.
Playing Peekaboo with herself
Caught the tail end of this on video. So stinking cute.
And she’s on the move
It’s official. Miss Lilla is mobile. She’s crawling around like crazy, pulling herself up onto her knees and just yesterday we found her standing in her pack’n’play holding on to the sides. Uh oh. Something tells me we’re in for it. I think this little girl is going to be an early walker. Time to batten down the hatches.
A whiny chatty cathy
Lilla’s favorite way go to communicate is “Ah-dah!”
